This guide walks you step-by-step on how to access and use the Generated PDF Link from PDF Maker inside your workflow.

Step 1: Add PDF Maker to Your Workflow

This step generates the PDF using your selected template.

    Step 2: Add an Action (e.g., Send Email)
    • Click + Add Action
    • Select Send Email (or any action where you want to use the PDF link)
    Step 3: Open Custom Values
    • Inside the email/message editor
    • Click the Custom Values (tag icon) button
    Step 4: Navigate to PDF Maker Values
    • Scroll and select : THE PDF Maker
    Step 5: Select Your PDF Action
    • Choose your action : #2 Generate PDF For Contact

      Note: The number (#2) depends on your workflow order
    Step 6: Select “Generated PDF Link”
    • Click : Generated PDF Link
      This is the actual link to the generated document.
    Step 7: Use the PDF Link in Your Message

     The system will insert a dynamic value like:
    {{contact_generate_pdf.2.pdfLink}}
    You can now use it in your message:
    Hi {{contact.name}}, Your document is ready: {{contact_generate_pdf.2.pdfLink}}

     ✅ Final Result
    Your workflow will:

    1. Generate a PDF
    2. Automatically insert the PDF link
    3. Send it to the contact (or use it in any action)
